Free Holiday Meal Boxes

Every year, Mitchell County SafePlace provides free holiday meal boxes to community members. We want to ensure no one in our community goes without during this season of giving.

Thanksgiving Meal Box

Our Thanksgiving boxes include a turkey, canned vegetables, stuffing, rolls, and pie. You must be available to pick-up your meal box on November 24th, between 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Starting November 3rd, you can sign-up here to ensure you receive a meal box.

November 20th is the last day you can sign-up.

November 24th will be the day to pick-up your meal box. We will send you a reminder text a few days before, along with the pick-up address.

Christmas Meal Box

Our Christmas boxes feature a ham, canned vegetables, stuffing, rolls, and a pie.  You must be available to pick-up your meal box on December 22nd, between 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. 

Starting December 1st, you can sign-up here to ensure you receive a meal box.

December 18th is the last day you can sign-up.

December 22nd will be the day to pick-up your meal box. We will send you a reminder text a few days before, along with the pick-up address. 

Remember, these meal boxes are available to anyone in need in our community. Make sure to fully complete the form when signing up so that we can ensure to have a box ready for you and your family.
